The Seduction

The Seduction was installed at ground level in amongst the trees in a secluded grove. This piece contemplates the inherent complexities of a pictorial representation of the body in relation to nature. It is inspired by classical paintings of the nude situated in a landscape, particularly those that perpetuated historical ideals of beauty, perfection, innocence and purity. The integration of collage and digital manipulation serve as counterpoint, and highlight our hyperactive and ever changing contemporary reality.
