Looking for Tom Thomson is a faux documentary created in real time as a miniature video camera examines objects and artifacts associated with the most intriguing and colourful member of the Group of Seven. The objects were chosen and arranged to create a simple narrative that, in broad strokes, followed the trajectory of Thomson’s life – from his baby cup to his mysterious and tragic death in the wilderness of Algonquin Park.
